Scrabulary Word of the Day #903 05/31/25 "LEAR"

LEAR = LISTEN + HEAR

My grandson texted to me today's Scrabulary word that he said was spoken by his dad.  He didn't specifically state the circumstances that brought about the statement in which this word appears; however, I can speculate as to a few.😆
His dad said:

"Why didn't you lear me?!"

Whatever the circumstances, I am glad he recognized the Scrabulary word and shared it with me. 💕

Scrabulary Word of the Day #902 05/03/25 "GLEAR"

 GLEAR = GOOD AND CLEAR

Before returning home from a trip, my daughter and son-in-law make a thorough check of their hotel room. My daughter explained:

"We always check to make sure the hotel room is glear before we leave."

Leave no one and nothing behind. 😄

Scrabulary Word of the Day #901 05/02/25 "SCHMERRIES"

 SCHMERRIES = SMASHED + BERRIES

My 12-year-old grandson provided today's Scrabulary word with its specific spelling! 👦  He enjoys eating fruit cups and usually requests one as a side when ordering take-out.  One day he was enjoying his food order and exclaimed:

"This fruit cup is full of schmerries! I'll still eat it, though."😋

Scrabulary Word of the Day #900 "SPY CHICE" 05/01/25

 SPY CHICE = SPICED CHAI

Today's Scrabulary word reminds me of the phrase "Got my tongue wrapped around my eye tooth and couldn't see what I was saying."

My hubby was sharing the benefits of spiced chai tea and said:

"Reducing inflammation is just one of the many benefits of spy chice tea."

Aroma therapy, too!
