Scrabulary Word of the Day #845 - 04/28/18 "SMOOT FRUITIE"

SMOOT FRUITIE = FRUIT + SMOOTHIE

Dubby is on a roll!  I'm thinking Scrabulary may be his first language.

My daughter sent this Scrabulary word after listening to Dubby recount what he ate during the day.

"...including a smoot fruitie!"

Who cares what else he ate, the best was last!

SMINK = SMELL + STINK

My son-in-law provided another excellent Scrabulary word--thank you, Dubby!!

Dubby had removed his boots after a long day and said:

"These boots make my feet smink!"

Time for new boots!

Scrabulary Word of the Day #843 - 03/31/18 "BABBIT"

BABBIT = BUNNY + RABBIT

Beetie and I were taking a walk around the neighborhood and a bunny stopped in its tracks as we were passing by.  We kept walking slowly so as not to startle the animal further and Beetie said:

"Hi there little babbit."

SPRING!--Season of new beginnings.

Scrabulary Word of the Day #841 - 03/24/18 "SQUEACHING"

SQUEACHING = SQUEALING + SCREECHING

While riding the escalator at the local mall, it sounded like it could use some maintenance. I said:

"Listen to that squeaching. Sounds like a giant hamster running full speed on a wheel."

The shopping mall experience,

Scrabulary Word of the Day #839 - 03/18/18 "GREADY"

GREADY = GOOD + READY

Beetie was patiently waiting for me to get in the car. I got my totebag in, my lunch bag placed and my seatbelt on. I turned to Beetie, grinned and said:

"Okay, now I'm gready."

Vroom!
