Scrabulary Word of the Day - 8-31 "HUNTERESTED"

HUNTERESTED = HUNGRY + INTERESTED

While trying to determine if my 13-month-old grandson was hungry, I placed a spoonful of food to his lips; he tightened his lips and turned his head.  I said:

"Nope, he's not hunterested."

Then 20 minutes later, after several laps up and down the hallway pushing his toy lawnmower,  he gobbled everything down.

That's my Moonpie,

HORRIDULOUS = HORRID + RIDICULOUS

"The floodwater isn't going to hurt that front yard, the landscape is horridulous."

Maybe improve it?

Scrabulary Word of the Day- 8-24 "GLOUND"

GLOUND = GROUND + LAND

"It's too bad all this floodwater won't saturate the glound and actually do some good."

Rain, rain, go away--come again another day.

"So, if you make those changes now, will it make everything else you've done noid?"

The only constant is change,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 7-28 "MESSLING WRATCH"

MESSLING WRATCH = WRESTLING MATCH

Apparently, my grandson does not like taking time to have his diaper changed.  Too many things to do, places to go, things to see.  Swuvie was trying to change her son's diaper, encountered the usual "reluctance" and said:

"Why does every diaper change have to be a messling wratch?!"

A baby on the go,

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 7-27 "EVUAL"

 EVUAL = EVEN + EQUAL

While setting measuring cups side by side to compare levels of contents, I said:

"I think that looks pretty evual."

Enjoy your day!
