Swuvie was nursing her newborn who likes to fall asleep while nursing and said:

"Rubbing his jawn prompts him to continue nursing."

Scrabulary Word of the Day - 7-27 "SCALENDAR"

SCALENDAR = SCHEDULE + CALENDAR


I haven't posted a word for several days because I am so proud to announce that my beautiful daughter Swuvie and handsome son-in-law Donut are celebrating the arrival of my gorgeous first grandchild, my grandson Acelin. Words (not even Scrabulary words) do not exist that express the immense, heartfelt, all consuming joy that fills me. My utmost thanks to my children for such a beautiful gift.  

Today's word is courtesy of my boss, Valerie.  She was on the phone with one of my co-workers making schedule changes and said:

"Well you check your scalendar for the dates you need off and call me back."  

Looks like I need to check my scalendar for vacation time with my new grandson!!

The weatherman "strikes" again.  He was reporting the towns (Yoder and Rush, Colorado) where a storm had hit and said:

"There were storms around Yush."

Still could use some precipitation.

Our local weatherman was keeping us updated on thunderstorms overhead and pointed to his map and said:

"This area just reported golf bize hail."

We sure could use some of that precipitation now.
